Luc Donstop, Former District Chairman SDF, Nkambe
“There is one individual who is putting his personal interest and ambition above all else even his party the SDF. He was not happy when I was elected District Chairman of SDF because I am a Bamilike. He knocked me out and brought in the man he is struggling to impose as mayor. I later won as Treasurer, yet he kept fighting me. I decided to leave his party before he gave me their 8.2. I am now in the CPDM, yet I continue to admire and encourage the one man who took me along in SDF-Mangoh Jones Tankoh. I will continue to give my assistance as a citizen of Nkambe”

OTHER LOCAL DEVELOPMENTS
Fon and Daughter at War
Reports state that there was a clash between two giants in Binka who had been vying for the post of 1st Deputy Mayor: the Fon of Binka and his daughter, Florence Beri, who doubles as the Divisional Coordinator of SDF in Donga-Mantung. The Fon is said to have prohibited all the dance groups in Binka from going to Nkambe, threatening to sanction any dance groups that did not comply.
Information reaching us has it that later in the evening, the dance groups decided to celebrate the installation of the mayor and their sister’s validation by dancing throughout the night in Binka.
Failed Attempts
One of the most respectable educationists from Tabenken, Mr. Alfred Mimba in a joke remarked: “Let Hon. Mbaya go and install that his mayor in his residence in Njap, not in Nkambe.” The Fon of Njap was present at the installation ceremony of Mayor of Nkambe.
It was alleged that the Hon. Mbaya visited “njangi” houses on the eve of the installation ceremony, urging members not to go and grace the occasion. The questioned reportedly asked him was why he had to be so worried about the installation of a man who campaigned for him to become a MP. And on the day of the installation, they came in their numbers.
