TFT: How can you assess the level of political management in the ruling CPDM and the opposition parties?
Hon. Ntoi: We can now draw conclusions from the fact that the SDF started with 43 MPs, came down to 22, and presently they have 16. So you can read the situation. The SDF we are counting on as the main opposition is dwindling like this due to poor leadership. I think it is good sign for the opposition in Cameroon.
TFT: Any advice for Cameroon’s opposition?
Hon. Ntoi: I like this idea of placing individual interest above those of the people. The idea of Power to the people is being used as a slogan to use the people to get to power. The opposition should read the trends and go back to the drawing board.
TFT:What role did your Political Bureau member play in the large CPDM victory in the area? |
 |
Hon. Ntoi: I will not say what he did, because he did what he could do. But, he comes from a constituency that unfortunately has not won for the CPDM. That is the problem.
TFT: Hon. We thank you immensely. TFT will pray that you have a fast recovery, go to the field and serve your people well.
Hon. Ntoi: I think we will play together. Donga-Mantung will work as a team. Hon. Awudu, Hon. Mrs.Ngalla, Hon. Mbuckseck and I will put aside political affiliation and work for the entire division. We have lost a lot, and we cannot continue pretending for the CPDM or SDF etc. With the two Ministers from Donga-Mantung, we will open a new page for the division.
TFT: Thank you very much and our best wishes. |
