Bilingualisms in Cameroun is a Fantastic Dream and Farce

In the study of Cameroun's history it is well founded that Cameroun is a country divided by language and culture (French and English) which can never blend. French and English exist like oil and water that do not go well together. Furthermore, French and English languages do not belong to the same "genetic relationship and geographic distribution. Moreover the two different nations that comprised Cameroun after the plebiscite of 11 th February 1961, have experienced different colonial administrations, and this type of situation has worked nowhere else in the world; why try it only in Cameroun with very wide difference in language and culture? This absurd situation affects the English speaking people of the former British-administered Trusteeship territory of the Southern Cameroons, because they are the subordinate group of people in this fragmentary society with Language pluralism, in which French is the Lingua-franca, and all business in the state of Cameroun is transacted mostly in the French Language, to the chagrin and disadvantages of the English-speaking people of the Southern Cameroons country and not bilingual as presumed and assumed by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and the international community as a whole.
