Let’s Change Climate in 2008, Not Constitution

The future of this country lies in your voice and your fingertips. You can change the future of this country simply by using your voice and your fingertips. Your activities this session can enable Cameroonians in general and your constituents in particular live green lives. So vote green; vote climate change; not constitutional change.

Climate change and global warming affect your constituency. Even as we write, your constituency suffers the direct and indirect effects of climate change. You are only being sensitive by taking up the climate change debate in parliament this session. There couldn’t have been a better time. Your constituent’s notice a fall in crop yield; rivers and streams dry off; seasons fluctuate as climatic conditions worsen.
